I'm a Los Angeles based actress, screenwriter, filmmaker and theatre-maker. My work investigates sci-fi, mysticism, the feminine divine and how to heal trauma. Having graduated from Australia’s The Victorian College of the Arts with a Bachelor of Dramatic Art, I have an extensive background in theatre-making, physical, classical and musical theatre. My favorite productions include It’s an Earthquake in my Heart, after Goat Island (Robert Walton/VCA), Romeo and Juliet (VCA), All About Eve (VCA) and Assassins (Watch This). While living in Melbourne, I wrote, produced and acted in my meta short, A Short Film by Shauna Lee. In 2014 I relocated to New York City and dove deep into downtown theatre. My New York theatre credits include playing Sabrina in The Kioskers in Labapalooza! (St. Anne’s Warehouse) and at the Deep Space Performance Residency (NACL), Stick & Poke (Exquisite Corpse Company), The Disastrous Tale of Vera and Linus (Kipuka Theatre), Mama’s Almost Birthday (Gallery Players).
For film, I directed Alaina Ferris’ music video Vesta, part of Exquisite Corpse Company’s Surreal Summer on Governor’s Island. After I returned to my family roots in Los Angeles to pursue filmmaking, I collaborated with Liv Colliander as The Void. We completed our first mystical sci-fi short, Birth Of A Pomegranate, in January 2019, in which Liv directed and I wrote and acted in. Also in 2019, I performed and co-devised Exhuming Johnny (Robert Walton/Chicago Cultural Center), which was curated for the Goat Island Archive "We Discovered a Performance by Making It" in conjunction with the 2019 Year of Chicago Theatre. Currently, I’m in the Actor-Content-Creator mentorship through Women In Film, alongside developing more mystical sci-fi content while pondering what it means to be human in this strange and magical universe.
